Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Honolulu airport, where we'll take a flight to the island of Hawaii to visit its most famous volcanoes. Ready to learn the secrets of how the island was formed?
Our day will start with an optional helicopter ride of 45 minutes to enjoy the aerial view of Hawaii's volcanic wonders. As the passengers enjoy the flight, the rest of the group will explore Hilo Town, visiting: Rainbow Falls, Banyan Drive, Liliuokalani Park & Gardens, the statue of King Kamehameha, and the black sand beach.
Once we regroup, we'll enjoy a picnic-style lunch at Millie’s Deli before heading to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where we'll visit the park's Visitors Center, witness the fumaroles, the impressive Halemaʻumaʻu crater, and the Nāhuku lava tube. Our last stop will be the ʻAkaka Falls, spectacular waterfalls that flow among lush tropical vegetation.
We'll end the day by taking a return flight to Honolulu, where arrival is expected to be at 9 pm. Until next time!
